'85 Nissan 300ZX (sold last year w/100K on the ticker).
I bought it new (yeah, I'm that old...), and would store it for the winter every year (even stored it for 3 years when I had no room in my complex). Each year I would find more and more of the fiberglass underlining of the front hood chewed off, so I would throw some fiberglass insulation all over the engine, hoping they would use it (they would). Then I started finding stored food (mostly my dog's food) and other things in the air cleaner box. Then they got into the heating/air conditioning ducting and made a condominium out of it. I had to drop the whole dashboard to open up the ducting to clean out all of the nesting, droppings, and other wastes. Boy, what a smell!!!! I finally learned to push the RECIRC button when storing the car so that the ducting was sealed off.
Oh, yeah, I also shot out a family of them from the tailpipe upon start up of the car in the spring. That was a weird scene...
