I'm changing the chains on my b234 '93 motor (long one) and am now going to refit the oil pump back. In Haynes it is told one had to mark how the gears of the oil pump are positioned before disassampling it all. But i have a desease of reading books only when i dont know what to do :) This was not the case, so it is only now i found that marking had to be done.
What is the best thing i can do now? Put everything together hoping mismatch is not big? What is the trouble this will bring to the oil pump and motor?
