[1995 9K ? My indy suggested not to use a cooler one for later 9Ks.]
It came with one. I did not change it.
[you should read somewhere between 7:30 and 9 o'clock at operating temperature. My 1995 9K shows a higher temperature when it's 18 deg out than when it was 95 deg in the summer.]
I think I posted earlier this year that my 95 is reading much cooler than my 94's and you pointed out the change in design. During summer my 95 is reading no hotter than 8:30. I don't remember it ever even goes beyond 9 o'clock.
[What is the antifreeze to water mix percentage ? Is it around 50/50 mix ? Is the hot coolant going through the heater core at all ? I know it's too cold in NJ to work on anything, even in an enclosed garage.]
The mix is 50/50. I know coolant is flowing to the heater core because I am getting heat. But in the last week or so I had to set the ACC on HI so I don't freeze.
You got that right. I can work in sweltering heat, but not frigid cold weather.
