If the engine mounts don't line up, you could probably take the subframe out of a four-cylinder car and put it in the V6 car - it might be possible to get by with the right side only seeing as how the transmissions are similar. Someone could take a look a the EPC to see if there is more than one subframe. I have to believe that there was only one body made. Also, the springs should be different if the engine weight is different.
There is currently a 1995 V6 car at a local car dealer listed for $1500 - I wouldn't go near it with a 10-foot pole - to show how dirt cheap these can be bought for.
