List on a crank pulley is around $125. Labor should be no more than an hour. Assuming $75/hour, that's $200.
How it can cost more- if while you're in there, you decide to replace the belt, both idler pulleys, and maybe the tensioner. That would add up. Please note on the '88, it has two belt and a manual tensioner. Later years have a single belt, and idler, and an automatic tensioner and tensioner pulley.
I like to replace the belt every 30K, and to replace the idler and tensioner every 60K miles. Idler/tensioner pulleys are usually good for about 75K, but I don't like to risk waiting until the 90K belt replacement.
Replacing the idler and tensioner pulleys is almost no labor. However ,the parts aren't cheap list (something like about $150 total). Mail order they are a lot cheaper.
