Step 1 - get yourself a piece of thin tubing, one that will fit over the brake bleeder nipple on the caliper. A foot or so long is fine. Also get a clear glass jar.
With a good SIX POINT socket, slightly open the nipple on the caliper. (the hose isn't on it at this time!) Brake nipples are notorious for being stuck. And they have very little surface area, so they strip easily. If you start with an open end wrench, you can strip it. 6 point sockets bear better and are less likely to strip. Don't unscrew it - just a 1/4 turn, then re-tighten (slightly).
With the nipple working, put the hose on the nipple, and run it into the jar. Then pressurize the system with your bleeder. I don't go above 15 psi - I like to run more like 12 or so, but that's just me. You can siphon out some brake fluid from the reservoir to start, but I don't. Two reasons - first, I like to flush the fluid through; it carries out junk that way. Second, brake fluid eats paint, and I'd rather not mess with it up by that fender.
With the system pressurized, open the bleed nipple with an open end wrench. You don't have to unscrew it - just a turn or turn and a half will do it. Press on the pedal. A bubbly air/fluid mixture will flow into the jar. Close the nipple and check the level in the reservoir. You don't want to let the reservoir go dry. Yes, you need to de-pressurize and re-pressurize to add fluid.
When the fluid in the jar runs clear and with no bubbles, you're done with that wheel.
I like to start at the farthest wheel (from the MC) - right rear. Then left rear, the right front, then finally the left front.
