What would cause my battery to drain? Would a bad voltage regulator allow the battery to drain. I have a 1991 9k turbo. while driving the voltage dropped. and the car eventually stalled. I restarted with a jump the next day, but only made it a couple of miles and it happened again. I tested the battery and it is good. Now trying to jump the car with cables is difficult. Would you suspect the cables? Positive or negative? or the voltage regulator or the alternator?
There had been corrosion on the positive terminal for a while now. Any help appreciated. thanks, Kev
