Overboosting MORE with outside lower temps?

Ari stated this in the past when I had my Overboost fuel-cut outs during warmer weather.
"There are two flavors of BPC (actually the early ones are APC solenoids, the later are BPC valves). The 900 type and early 9000 (APC) is an on-off solenoid, that can get gummed up. The later BPC is a variable position solenoid, and there can be a few things to go wrong. The BPC has three wires; the APC two.
Before I started going after the BPC with compressed air and solvents, I'd check the wastegate actuator. I'd also see if it comes back. If it's a just once thing, I'd put it down to a sticky wastegate."
The Fuel-cut off seem to be happening more often now that it is cold out! But when I wante dot get a replacement BPC I was surprised to see TWO flavors for a '95 9000? http://www.thesaabsite.com/9000/9000turboparts.htm
Seems there IS a diff. BPC for Aero and non-Aero's. So If I got to the local junk yard that has three wrecked '90's 9000's I can't pull a BPC valve off just any '90's 9000 it HAS to be a Aero?
