Crank Position Sensor (CPS)and fuel pump, both noted by others.
If it starts up when cold but not when hot it is more likely the CPS. This mean it may fail again soon. But the fuel pump is easiest to check for sincve you can hear it when you turn the key to on. If you can hear the pump cycle then you know it's not the pump or its relay.
The CPS is easy to replace, costs about $110, IIRC. The pump is nastier, messier, more expensive.
OTOH... in every fuel injected car (except my '95 9K) I've owned, I've had at least one no start when hot problem. And it has started fine a couple hours later. Never knew why, but it has happened to all of them since 1978 (2 VWs, 2 Saabs, 1 Ford). Some crud in the fuel system may block some critical passage or ?? and no start.
