The voltage display on my 90 9k is always reading about a volt low. Every once in a while ihat will read the correct voltage though. What sort of wiring issue would make it do this. Also any time excessive load is placed on the electrical system the lights dim and the radio flashes off, along with the engine kinda studdering. This happens when, say you have the headlights, brake lights on, then press all of the window switches at once. I found a loose connection. A black wire that connects to a connector that goes to one of the red battery cables. The bolt was on that little wire panel on the battery holder. It seemed to help abit. The engine dies a little less and the lights don't dim quite as much
