is this a car you just got? have the plugs been changed? if not, or you don't know how long they have been, at least remove and inspect them for color and gap. if they look ok then re-gap and reinstall. if you are not sure if they look ok you can 1) do a search on plug color (even google) or 2) take to the auto parts store and see if they have a *chart*. don't ask, often they aren't qualified. ask about the chart. ONLY replace with the NGK's per the owners manual. NO CROSS equivalents. the DI is very picky about plugs, it does resistance readings while running to modify the timing and boost too (if you have a turbo). ONLY NGK of proper number.
if you are still getting a miss at idle then the next thought would be the DI. when you remove the DI to check plugs, get a flashlight and look in each of the fingers that attach to the plugs. they should be dry, no oil leaking and no gunk. if you see oil dripping then the DI is on it's way out. you can replace used for between 40-150 on ebay. many will say get new. I've have good results with used.
let us know how it's going...
