Hello,
My car is a 9K T16 without catalytic converter (European spec).
I follow the procedures recommended by Ari on this post http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9000/index.html?bID=204185
Step 4 states “…measure continuity between AMM connector pin 2 and LH ECU pin 6 and AMM pin 3 and LH pin 7”.
I’m not sure I did it in the right way. I measured the continuity between the AMM pin and LH ECU connector (the cable that connects to the ECU on top of the ABS ECU in the aquarium). Is it the right place?
If that was the place to measure, I performed all the five steps and the AMM should be ok. The culprit isn’t the FPR, I replaced it by a good one (although 2.5 bar). Also, I replaced the spark plugs and checked all the vacuum and fuel lines and the fuel pump.
The car near dies when accelerator is gently pressed and it’s almost impossible to build up the revs.
It’s turning me mad. What should I do next?
Thanks in advance.
Claudio
