Help! Broke plastic fitting the check valve goes in.

Replacing fuel pump, I got the check valves out ok. Then, while struggling to get the big ring off, I broke off the female plastic fitting (like a stub of a pipe) that the check valve goes into. Is this a part I can buy or can I repair it with crazy glue?
I still can't get the ring off. Should I cut it and get another?
Thanks for any help.
