Road Salt usage in Kansas City? Posted by iveand [Email] ![]() ![]() |
I am in minnesota performing a "nationwide" search for the RIGHT 9000. 95 - 98 Manual, under 100K, any trim acceptable (since all turbo .. would upgrade the LPT in a CS to FPT), but would like sunroof and tan leather (black is HOT). Knowing MN roads and what it does to cars over time, I am hoping for LOW salt exposure.
Found a lead on a 97 Aero w/ 74K in Kansas City. How would salt exposure be there compared to MN? I know it has to be "less", but would it still be considered fairly salty down there? Are all suspension / brake components on a 10 year old car relatively seized up like they would be here? I know the body panels are probably still good, as Saabs seem to perform better than average. But what about the underneath / innards?
