are the rubber sealing strips on the bottom part of the doors. On the CS model, these strips overlaps the sill covers (goes below the door), whilst on the Aero (and Jubilee) model, the are not as wide and seals only on the upper/inner part of the sill covers.
The SAAB article numbers for the Aero model are:
- front doors / 43 03 699
- rear doors / 43 03 707
and are named "decor strips". They come complete with clips and do not cost a fortune, as many of the SAAB parts do.
Please be aware of the distance between the clips when you buy them for the front doors. When I bought mine, there was a mistake in the SAAB database for these article numbers, so initially I got strips that did not match the holes in the doors (different spacing between the clips), and after some arguements with the local dealer, the central database was corrected, and I hope that it applies also to the US database.
What I can recall, the strips were somewhere in the range of US Dollars 30-40 for all four.
The front and the rear fits on both right and left side (you buy them in pair). The distance between the clips are not symetrical, so you cannot fit them upside down.
