Aaron, Pretty much any Saab 9000 ZF4HP18 trans. will go in that car. The later, the better. You might want to get a turbo unit if yours is a turbo. What's wrong with your ZF4HP18? Why do you want to replace the pump? Poor forward clutch engagement? Pump replacement isn't very difficult. When you lift out the old pump you must try to keep the other stack elements from rising too, especially the reverse drum, because it can be frustrating to get them back where they go. Gently shake it as you lift. Be sure that you get new piston rings (for the stator and turbine shaft, O'ring and bolt gaskets (washers). Good luck.
