The tires came with the car when I bought it used. I rotated the rear tires to the front. I had always noticed one of the rear tires was a little wobbly, but when I put them on the front of the car, it was much more noticeable. So I took both front wheels off, cleaned them well with a garden hose and removed any mud, rocks from the tread, etc. Then I took them to NTB and had them balanced. When I got them back on the car, the vibration was definitely a little lower but in the last couple weeks it has returned to its full vibration. I don't know if maybe the rim is bent, or the tires are just cheap, or what. I'm thinking I could try putting the spare tire from the trunk on the front right (the tire I think is out of balance) and see if the vibration goes away. Of course we now have 10 inches of snow in the driveway (west of DC) so that will have to wait.
