Exhaust-To fix or not to fix

Recently the amount of noise in my 1990 9k non turbo started getting loud. I sounded like it was a hole in the resonator and I confirmed this by going under the car and feeling for "air". There is a crack that is in the pipe right after the resonator. But today right before I was about to bandage it up The car got really loud and ricer like. Droaning and sputtering at idle. I took my flash light and to my dismay there the rear muffler was sitting on the rear axle. The flange had rusted and the pipe broke about an inch before the flange. I also noticed that the cat had the same rusty appearance and the heat shiel looks almost rusted through.
My question is: Is this worth repairing? I might leave the cat as is for now, but I want to either cut out the resonator and put a pipe straight to the rear muffler or just fix the joint and bandage the resonator as planned. The other optio is to sell it and buy either a 9k turbo or a c900 turbo. What should I do?
