Oil in cooling system

Oil is suddenly showing up in the cooling system of my 93 2.3. The head has been pulled, and the gasket is intact and there is no evidence of oil leaking. The head is not warped. Recent work include a new throttle body and (finally) a new heater core and heater motor. Any ideas?
