Bilsteins come in 3 types - 'normal', 'sport' and 'heavy duty'. Because SAAB is a small market, we only get two choices 'normal' and 'heavy duty'. Unless you want your teeth to fall out, you don't want heavy duty. Many people like konis, and I do too, just Bilsteins are cheaper, and are easier to fit to a 9000 and are not adjustable. For me adjustable shocks are overkill. The thing I don't like about the stock setup on the CS/CSE is it causes too much roll/lurching when driven with any enthusiasm. That can be helped a bit by adding poly rear sway bar bushings and poly front A-arm butterfly bushings (available from site sponsors like Eeuroparts). I also don't like how the stock suspension has the car riding so high that you could fit truck tires under there. The only way to find out what you really like is to drive some cars equipped with what you are thinking of.
