I have seen these loosen, or worse, strip the threads on the aluminum water pump housing it bolts to. Perhaps an overzealous monkey overtorqued it in the past.
If this happens, you get a low rumble at idle that goes away with a little throttle. See if that's your problem.
It's probably benign, but I would be worried about the possibility of this jackhammer-like vibration breaking the Loctite seal on your timing cover, which could lead to annoying oil leaks. I think that happened to me with a CDE I had. Didn't have the heart to tackle fixing it on that car.
If you have stripped threads, not too terrible -- a call to Goldwing or even your local parts picker can land you a new water pump housing. Then replace pump and housing and properly torque the compressor bracket back into place.
