Going on a little road trip next week for "Spring" break, and I'd like to hardwire it in so I don't have the annoying power cord down my windshield.
I know that I'll be going down the a-pillar, but I don't know what wire to tap into. It has to be something switched I assume. How do I tell if something is switched or not?
How do I do the actualy wiring? Should I use that little splice thing that it came with? I'd guess that I need to ground it somehow too? Really stupid question, but if I use that little splice thing, the thing I'm splicing into still works right?
Sorry for the really stupid questions, but I've never done wiring stuff and I don't want to screw anything up! Thanks for any advice.
