if you broke the L shaped item it's called the fuel check valve. you can get another one from eEuroparts.com
do a search on this site about check valve or fuel check valve.
there is a tool to do this, I don't have one. What I did was to put the end of the fuel line (that's the hard plastic stuff) in boiling water to soften it (used a pyrex measuring cup, microwave tool!) and I had put a little waterless handcleaner on the L checkvalve (just a dot...). took awhile but finally got it to go together. when it cools it get hard as it was before, wiped it off and reassymbled.
I had to do mine when changing the fuel pump. the check valve just snapped. very brittle!
