So easy my eight year old could do it. It varies slightly on the older models, but essentially here is the procudure. Unclip the wires on the right hand side of the DI (you have to push the red part of the clip while wiggling it off). Then unscrew the four screws on top of the DI. Mine require a star head screwdriver, but I don't know if that is standard or not. Then simply pull off the old DI. While you have it off it is a good idea to change the plugs. There is a tool in the trunk toolbox that will easily remove the plugs. Slip it over the plug, insert the tire iron thru the hole and turn - out come the plugs. I gap my new plugs at just under 1 mm, but some of the far more knowlegable people on this site may recommend a different gapping. Make sure you use the correct NGK plugs. Once the new plugs are in, simply reattach the new DI and clip the wires back on. The whole process takes me about 5 minutes.
