Put on my summer tires today and went for a ride. The car felt more powerful than usual at moderate throttle, so I got on it and immmediately went to over boost and hit fuel cut off. As much fun as this is, I wondered if my less than 2-month-old BPC was acting up. I unplugged it and drove around at base boost to keep the engine out of trouble.

Back home I tested the resistance and it was 2.9 on both sides (so did the one it replaced). Took it off and blew through the top port and found it plugged. The bottom was OK. Tapped the top end with the handle of a screwdriver and blew again and it was easier. Some more tapping seemed to open and close things. Finally got it to the point where it was when it went on--easy to blow thru all the ports. Put it back on the car and am back to "normal." I have a 850 mile road trip the next two days so it will be interesting to see how this progresses.

Of course there may be an ECU driver issue here... But I can't interpret the ECU readings on my multimeter as meaning much so I don't know if the drivers are causing a problem, and going through back posts doesn't tell me what I need. My meter has a 2M setting, so I don't know how to interpret the readings. I need an "ECU for Dummies" explanation, I guess. I can do electrical circuits, but this is electronics and eludes me. Need to learn this stuff!
