Hi,
I had the same question, so see the responses in the link below.
I thought it converted a 200hp FTP to a 225 HP, which is obviously wrong, what it does is change the mapping in the ECU to increase the torque.
Word of caution. I would suggest fitting a switch wired back to the driver's console somewhere, as if the ECU thinks it is a manual, you may notice a lower idle as it won't compensate for the extra load when you go from park to drive. I had to reconnect mine as on the car i did this to it had bad engine mounts and the lower RPMS set up such a vibration I thought the doors would fall off!
