It is very unlikely. I checked both MAP sensors and the connecting vacuum hose. I have one from the scrapped engine and another from the new engine. I switched these two only. I did not go further thinking both cannot be bad. The one on the scrapped engine was working. If need be, I have two more 9k's to switch parts around but I didn't think necessary.
