change your brake hoses (all wheels) but especially the other side on the front.
check the rear calipers. rear brakes hanging are more likely to make car swerve than front, in my experience.
pull the abs fuse and slam the brakes on on a gravel covered part of a parking lot, easy to see if one brake is coming on later than the others or not doing its share.
check your front suspension, especially the tie rods and (most likely) control arm bushings (the big ones at the backs of the front control arms).
sounds like you've been very lucky so far. luck won't last forever.
