Can the trunk light drain the battery....

Within 3 days??
Last Sunday I left the trunk open accidentally. Turns out the battery is flat. Only 3.5V left over the battery posts tonight.
Is it really possible for that small courtesy light to drain a 74Ah Bosch battery within 3 days?
Battery is 4 years old, but started to display 11.4 - 11.6 V before startup (was 12.0V). Voltage drop to 9.0V - 9.5V at cold start, which is a steady picture.
How bad is this? Can I just recharge it or did I damage it?
Thanks fro any help
