Hi Henry,
Should be fine, I can't think of any reason why the front or rear would be harder to remove with door caps fitted.
However, do be careful, as the lacquer on the veneer looks fragile and avoid twisting the door caps or flexing them - ah, I just thought - when you remove the door panels after you've removed all the screws and push tabs, you need to apply force from underneath the door panel to release the clips that hold the interior weather strip to the door, so be careful as that's the only point where I can see you NEED to do something that could crack the lacquer. I found lifting one end and then the other would reveal which end of the clips would start giving first (there are four clips). Once you've found the loosest end, just keep rocking the door panel to and fro and applying a firm thump with the flat of your hand so it pushes up on the door panel.
God, I hope that makes sense to anyone but me, with it so fresh in my mind!
