I have not personally done this, but I understand you can remove the trans cooler fitting creating a constant loss, i.e. none of the fluid coming out goes back, and then add trans fluid via the filler nect using a funnel. This creates an all new fluid situation without recycling any of the stuff.
I think you would need to be on secure jackstands and be able to shift between gears to get all of the passenges in the tranny to purge.
Also, if you are able to get through this procedure I'd consider adding something like a trans cleaner (have tried Seafoam) and running *briefly* and then doing the entire procedure again.

Again, I have not personally done this, but have heard of the procedure being done at a dealership.
