9000 CSE electrical issues AFTER a repair in trunk

I had a leak coming for the trunk that a body shop just repaired. They took all the carpeting, interior panels, etc., out of the trunk, then did a "leak test" for a few hours with a hose, then said they fixed several sources of leaks. When I got the car back, some of the interior lights will not work, and the central locking system (doors, gas flap door) won't work either. If I press the button on the remote that locks the doors, etc., the gas flap, and sets the alarm, all it does it set the alarm (but no horn beeping sound as before) but won't lock the doors or gas flap. Also, it's just the center interior light (the one that goes on and off when you open a door on delay) is the only light affected that won't work. The reading lights work.
The body shop did this during their repairs because everything worked perfectly when I dropped the car off.
They claim they did nothing wrong to the wiring!
Any thoughts on what these monkeys did to the wiring system?
