Another bad day

I was working from home today. Took a break late morning in my 95cse to go get something. It has been raining for two days in New Jersey. Got out of Walgreens, the car won't start. I am stumped because this is a new battery from AutoZone which I just bought last week. Maybe the moisture and sitting in the rain drained it. But that is not the reason why I am writing this.
My son was at home. So I called him to get the jumper cable so I could bring the 95cse home. Waited for 30 minutes. I was mad as hell when he finally showed up for what took only five minutes from my house to Walgreens. Then he told me he had an accident in the 94cde which is why it took so long. He had to go back to the scene for the police office to finish the report.
He was at the traffic light waiting to make a left. The car behind him couldn't wait, rear ended him. The momentum pushed the 94cde to rear ended the car in front of it. The 94cde sustained only minor damage. The driver front head light was smashed. The front bumper cracked a little. The tail pipe was pushed in. There is also some sheet metal damage in the rear, not very serious.
Looks like another struggle in a thrid party claim to me.
