MAYBE possible... Posted by Daven [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: so how hard is to to put aero bumpers on a 91-92 9kt, JPn, Thu, 27 Apr 2006 13:49:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
...but the two models use different fenders and quarter-panels. I have a '91-'92 Aero bodykit on my '92 9KT and it really looks incredible and I think you might have seen such a bodykit on a '91-'92, and they do look the same, but they're not. Your front bumper, for example, should have a slight dip where the headlights reach the grill and I don't think this dip matches up with the '91-'92 headlight-grill meeting point. Also, the top bumper skin should stop where the corner turn signals stop on the fender, but because the fenders are different, there is no such a point on a pre-'93 fender and unless you fabricated something, it might look pretty funny. OF COURSE this is only my opinion and maybe other people know otherwise. Hope this helps.
