Hi all...just looking for recommendations on these symptoms. CEL light comes and goes without rhyme or reason. Car runs rough at times like it's missing on one or more cylinders but when floored it goes like a rocket. New vaccum hoses all around and O2 sensor, new turbo. Runs especially rough when it's damp or raining when first started until it warms up then it's fine. Pulled the plugs and all are gapped properly and are dry and uniform grey/brown color, except cyl 2, which is damp with something other than fuel, coolant? leaking head gasket? Oh nooooo...but this Ive only checked when engine is cold, so I need to check after running a while to see to what degree the wetness leaks into the cylinder. Yes? Don't suspect the DI as I have swapped it out with a new BLUE unit and it still misses. Mech says the CEL code shows a dirty injector, two bottles of cleaner through it so far with no improvement. Ive been living with this condition for months but it's starting to get to be annoying..boost hovers in the mid yellow when it's missing then when it catches it pegs into the red and off she goes! ...thoughts ? recommendations? thanks in advance.
