A good day

I posted my 94cde got rear ended last week which resulted in some minor damages. The momentum of the collision from behind pushed the car to hit another in front of it so there are damages both front and rear. To me the front bumper, the driver side headlight assembly and the HL wiper assembly need to be replaced in the front. The rear bumper and rear muffler need to be replaced in the back. Plus a monir sheet metal damage on the rear driver side panel near the exhaust.
The car is completely driveable and repairable it would appear to me. But the Geico estimator totaled the car. The valuation was $3646. Since I want to keep the car and also there are some minor blemishes prior to the collision, Geico deducted $250 salvage and $337.35 prior damage from it. I'll be getting a check $3242 and change from Geico, plus keeping the vehicle. Can I say no?
My son still has a court date in late May as a witness in the case the State against the offender. That's only procedural. Unlike two years ago when my 94cs was wrecked in a front end collision when I was also the victim, this case is clear cut so Geico did not quibble at all.
I am finally getting paid for the untold amount of work I did on the car.
