inner driver removal, how ruff does one dare to be

1991 9ooo turbo auto driver side inner driver have the five bolts out of the cast alum flange but cannot budge the innner driver is it likely sealant that is holding things or could the vibration from bad driver damage the splines preventing release? I would think a straight in-line pull would do it...but nada.
