New shoes for the old girl...

So last week I determined that I had not one but four wheels bent badly enough to cause noticeable vibration, and one way more than noticeable.
Needed tires anyway, so the cost of straightening my four 16x6.5 stockers compared to just ordering up something new pre-mounted wasn't compelling.
Kinda wanted the Ronal R-7s, but the lighter weight (4lb per wheel) of the LVs proved to be a deciding factor. Showed up this morning as I'm on my way out the door, wrapped in a nice fresh set of 225/50-16 Goodyear GS-D3s.
New toys, put down the work stuff and grab the wrench.
They are 35mm offset with an 8mm spacer snapped in (so basically stock 27mm offset) and I was absolutely certain I was going to have clearance problems in front with the spacers. Back when the car was new I couldn't even get a 205/55-16 on the stock wheels without clearance problems.
So far, though, between having clipped the fender-lip trim studs years ago and having ground out the strut towers for some negative camber, no contact problems. Will know more after a few days.
Pictures later...the original Saab wheels go back to Ronal as trade-in on the 17x8 R41s I bought for my SHO at the same time.
