I'm going to be making my own wood, stepped lift ramps that will be quite long shooting for about 10-12 inches of lift so that would have to be 5-6 steps of 2inches, Of course paired with blocks and Jack-Stands to be safe. If it isnt a ramp it should be pretty safe aswell.
Anyone know what the needed height would be to access everything including the engine, oil pan, and most of the exhaust?
I am prepared for this to be more expensive than a 9inch metal ramp on an incline, but first it will be more safe taking the precations to pre-drill holes for the securing nails so it doesnt split any wood fibers.
What do you guys think about lift height? I am preparing for this to be a 5-6 feet lifting ramp in length. Not to mention custom painting it.
