Follow up to CEL & Trailer wiring post. Previously I asked if anyone had any input on the problems I have been having being caused by a cobbed trailer wiring installation by UHAUL for my 97 9000 Aero. I did not receive any responses so I figured what he hell & pulled it off. Since then I made a put nearly 1,000 miles onthe car including a trip to Shea stadium with 4 passengers. During this week the Check Engine light never came on, I got 32 MPG on the road. Car is running awesome. Boost is absolutely killer now. I am assuming that the incorrect wiring was simply causing a voltage issue that was effecting the fuel system. Weird but apparently true. So to anyone trying save a buck on trailer wiring, please do yourself a favor and drive past UHAUL. I have now ordered the factory plug.
