My '90 9k 2.3i is having really bad performance lately. 1st and 2nd gear is OK, but not great. All the rest are way too slow. I'm having a hard time getting it to go over 80-85. I talked with a guy at the Saab Dealership. He thought it could be fuel pump on its way out. It taking like 20 seconds to start. The last time I put in gas it got 18.5 mixed, only 250 miles. Its idling fine though. I had my dad drive behind me and he didnt see any smoke or anything. I know these cars arent very fast, but its been really bad. The only thing I can think of as remotely a problem is that I have Bosch plugs in in instead of NGK's.
