My daughter is back home for the summer having a full time summer job so I let her drive my 95cse turbo to work. I think it needs a rear passenger side wheel bearing but I am waiting for the sound of the bad bearing to get louder so it reveals itself more evidently.
Wife's 95 cs turbo is temporarily stranded needing a complete exhaust from the cat back. It didn't have to be that way. If I paid more attention in the beginning I would have only needed to replace the rear muffler and the resonator. Now we need to replace everything from the cat back. If I let it slip further I may have to replace the cat too so I decided enough is enough. All exhaust components except the resonator are delivered. Hopefully the mid section comes from Eeuro today so we can get it done over the weekend.
My 94cde turbo still has the rear muffler pushed in due to the rear end accident more than a month ago. We got paid $3,500 by insurance so it doesn't owe us anything despite untold hours I spent working on the car. I have the new muffler in the garage but no time to install it as it is not as critical juggling among a million things to do.
I posted a while ago the radiator fan did not work and there was no AC after replacing the engine on the 94cde, among other ailments. They have been mostly fixed. Driving the 94cde everyday for two weeks I found the radiator fan works after all. Strangely enough, it mostly comes on after I shut the engine off and hums for a good two minutes. I am now driving the car with the windows open as the AC doesn't work. That and the drooping headliner flapping at high speed with the window open is something to behold. The looming cooling season will push the AC to the top of the list so I will have to tacke it soon. The headliner probably won't get fixed anytime soon although I have already purchased the fabric last year.
The joy of owning used cars and too many of them! That and the curse of material possession.
