Fixed wife's exhaust over the weekend by replacing the pipes from the cat back. So the 94cs turbo is almost free of any issues. It is running with a 7 flash CEL since the day I got it almost four years ago. The fuel indicator works only some of the time. I thought the fuel gage hangs up on the pump. It isn't. I replaced the fuel pump to no avail. She's used to driving with the trip meter as a gage.
The 95 cse turbo has a suspect rear passenger side wheel bearing. The ABS light comes on intermittenetly. I have no cure for it. All four sensors check out.
I replaced the rear muffler of the 94cde turbo yesterday. It was pushed in during the accident which we got compensated for $3,500. Not a bad deal. The AC issue turned out simply a burnt 30A fuse. So I am happy again not having to drive it with the windows open. The remaining issues are, blinking SRS since day 1 more than two years ago, drooping headliner, and a 1 time frequency front driver side axle noise. I must have missed something when I replaced that axle during engine replacement two months ago.
I am turning my attention to my two 5 series. Actually our bathroom remodeling will probably be next.
