The first thing to check is the clutch line; the rubber hose section of this line is the weak link. Have some one press (no need to pump) the clutch pedal while you watch the line (wear eye protection, the fluid is nasty). If that is the culprit, it can be replaced by a new line or take the line to a hydraulic shop to have a high pressure hose spliced in. The latter is a better fix and less expensive. The routing of the line between the fire wall and the false fire wall is very convoluted (in my 89), it is a struggle to get it out and even worse to get it back in. I had the shop built an entire new line that goes through a very simple route; I identified the new routing by bending a metal wire (cloth-hanger). The cost came close to the OEM price, well-worth it.
If the clutch line is not the problem, check the master cylinder (leaving the most difficult and most expensive item, the slave cylinder to the last). Master cylinder can leak internally from one chamber to the other; this leaves no fluid traces outside of the system. Or it can leak externally, which would wet the interior of the car under the dash at driver side.
Lastly, slave cylinder leakage would leave a puddle under the transmission. Repair requires transmission removal. If it comes to that, replace the through out bearing at the same time. The bearing is inexpensive and you have already done all the dismamtling.
The clutch/brake fluid is very light in color, look carefully.
