Anders- thanks for the vacuum routing pictures. They are easier to understand then the small picture on the driver’s fender.

I talked to Yuvall (sic?) at Ultima, Ltd. in Mass. He said that the vacuum diaphragm on the electronic throttle body is not available-UGGHH!
He shared alot of diagnostic information with me. Here goes;
A.) The ohm meter test on the throttle body motor is not an accurate test.
Make up a test lead with a 20 watt bulb in line (series) from positive battery to the top pin (7); negative battery wire to bottom pin (1). This will open the butterfly, reverse the leads will close the butterfly.
B.) The plastic check valve (red/white) is best checked with a cup of water-blow lightly into it and watch for bubbles- see bubbles only 1 way.
C.) The automatic transmission cars ABS and TSC circuits are separate while the manual transmission cars ABS and TSC circuits are combined. The manual cars ABS maybe only at fault but it will also trigger the TSC.
D.) Switch the key (without starting) TSC unit will self test and the ABS pump will come on and charge the system-the lights should go-systems OK!
E.) The cruise light will stay on for approx. 10 seconds after key off to bleed off the vacuum from the TSC safety valve circuit.
F.) Permanent LHM is either a vacuum or mechanical problem.
G.) If you have a normal easy pedal when you first start off and then it gets hard to push and you have trouble getting turbo boost=intermittent.
H.) If your throttle body has been changed or upgraded-the connector from the wiring harness pins are just crimped on-check for a loose crimp.
I.) Another point of vacuum leak is the PCV check valve.

I found several problems on my car so far- the TSC check valve is bad, the PCV check valve is also bad, and I had a small slit in a vacuum line. The diaphragm is split but I was able to glue it- it is working for the time being. I am still in intermittent LMH but it is not as bad as what it was. At this point, I am looking at the ABS system. I cleaned the wheel sensors a couple weeks ago to no avail. I also checked the connectors to the front and side of the bottom of the brake reservoir.
