I have a 1993 Aero which will only start and by helping the accelerator. It will also only idle if you help the accelerator. Cylinders 2 and 3 are not burning properly. After everything was checked by myself and then the dealer, timing, TDC, injectors (with Tech 2) ,DI (backup unit + Tech 2 test), ECU, sensors (some replaced0, MAP sensor, new FPR, new temp sensor, new potentiometer, new head gasket. The dealer now says that there is oil in the cylinder 2 and 3 and not gas.
Question 1 - How could this be when the head was just redone (no.3 had a burnt exhaust valve). Incidentally this problem was there before removing the head.
Question 2- Dealer says the CPS is good because the car starts. Can it be that the CPS can lose some voltage and cause the ECM to misfire on the injectors.
