...but for you, you can use any head from either the classic 900 16V on up to a 93 9000. I know, the earlier heads for 9000s, and all the 900 heads, were for the 2.0 engine, but they'll fit with just a couple of very simple modifications (requiring no machinery or tools, just relocating a coolant plug as I recall).
Starting with the 94 model year, the heads were changed to match the shorter length of the engine block, and you won't be able to use one of those.
If you were in a pinch and stuck a 2.0 head on there, the only difference is in the inner bore of the intake ports, which are slightly smaller on the 2.0 head. I used one on a 92 2.3 9000 and there's practically no noticeable difference. It's most evident at higher speeds and RPMs, where you could say the car runs out of air a bit sooner, but not bad.
On a turbo, you'd prefer a 2.3 turbo head -- a turbo head should be ready for the turbo plumbing too. But if you have difficulty sourcing one you can try other options just as well.
