....i must admit i haven't read every post in your thread...
... however after a few lines of your original post, i thought of something...
your situation reminds me exactly of what happened to me when i swapped out my engines in my 1990 9000 turbo.
Perhaps i went into more detail in my past posts... when i remembered all the little details...
the jist of my particular situation was...
new CPS
working di cassette...
operational fuel pump
operational main relay
all obvious things tested...
still no start... even considered alarm system affecting started so removed alarm brain...
turned out it was some sort of "communication" problem between the di/apc computer and the ECU...
i think it started at one point too... meaning intermittent problem...
i replaced both computers... which i believed solved the problem... although i think the whole ordeal remains shrouded in mystery...
