The 9k clutch hydraulic routing has a low point at the master before coming up to go through the firewall and then down to the slave so power bleeding is required. I've never able to get a handle on bleeding the clutch using the bike tube method over the years (the only method I used) although in the end I somehow always succedded. I've learned to not introduce air to the master whenever I need to disturb the clutch hydraulic system. Unless I am replacing the master this can be achieved easily. If this is the case, power bleeding or pressure bleeding is really not required. Gravity works. Open up the slave bleeder screw half a turn to 3/4 turn. Attach a clear plastic tubing to the bleeder screw leading to a bowl and let it sit for 20 minutes. You'll see air bubbles slowly coming out.
If air has entered the low poing you need to somehow purge it or gravity will never work.
