Heat up the end with a soldering iron, then quickly whack it down against a board to remove most of the solder. Then, carfully uncrimp it with some small diagonal pliers. The idea is to squeeze hard enough to bend the tabs, but not so hard that the end is crushed or cut off. After the new brush is loaded, recrimp and solder the ends. I've replaced the brushes on three voltage regulators, although I don't know if I could get away with doing the same VR twice.
